I say you don't buy them AND you call the state and tell them to put me down as the recipient of the 2nd draw winning. But that's just me.

I picked up the Brierwood muzzleloader hunt today. Don't know anything about the area. Looks thick on the maps. It's set for January so maybe the foliage will be knocked back a bit.
Anyone have any advice for this unit late season?

Nice. Good luck to you. Not a whole lot of information on those units besides they are loaded with wild hogs.

Hunt started on the 18th. Nothing first evening. Nice 6-8 pt. came in yesterday evening but no shot available. Another smaller buck came in later, thought it was a 6. Made a shoulder shot on it, no blood at spot. Later several guys here helped me find it in the dark, lots of blood later on the trail, maybe 75 yds. away? Had to make another shot to finish him. At least we found it. It was actually a small rack 8-pt. Sorry, no pics because of time.
Still here, hunt ends tomorrow. Pretty rough country down here around the park area.

How was Hunter success overall? Any exotics seen or killed?
