Mason Mountain WMA semi live youth hunt

Best of luck to your son this morning. My son got drawn for that exact youth hunt a few years ago. Upon arrival we unloaded into the bunkhouse, did orientation and went out to hunt. He took a spike and doe the first evening. Loaded up and drive back home.

The staff is top notch.

It's been slow. I also have not heard anyone else shoot as of yet.

There were several deer and a couple of pigs checked in last night. I'll get totals later on today.

Nothing for us this morning. Only one deer killed out of the entire group. Just a slow morning overall.

All in all a really fun trip though.

I believe there were 10 deer killed overall and 3 or 4 hogs.

Good catch on the orange. He had a reversible orange/camo hat on. Just missed it was backwards.
