Sorry for the suspense !
I Lost my phone.
Was super slow today and out of no where, he was standing 30 yds in front of me.
What a great hunt.

Look at the 2 cowlicks on his head, never seen that before

I left the saddle for the ground. Wind in my face I spot a deer around 100 yards. Binos up I see monster buck. I put the hunting public stalk on him. Landowner next door starts popping off rounds every second from gun. He goes and beds down in a creek covered with briars. I belly crawl up to under 10 yards to the creek behind a fallen tree. I pop up over it and this buck stands up from the creek and I pop him thinking it was him. Buck goes 10 yards does the wobble and falls over. 2 min later the big one with drop tine stands up and comes out of the bank and walks up hill. I come over to my buck to check him wondering what I just shot . Big one with drop then finds his doe and again and almost ran me over.

Had a similar thing happen to me at H, you will relive it in your mind forever.

Still a nice buck, congrats on the stalk and success.
