Good report Johnny! Man I hate to hear that happen but at least you got a chance to see some and shoot one. They are extremely tough animals that don't bleed much.

I feel for you man. It’s difficult to even find the entrance wound on those bulls. Their outer layer is so thick and elastic where it counts that it seals the entry right up, and at that distance that caliber may not exit that size bull. Makes it practically impossible to find a blood trail. You’ll get one next year. Let the countdown begin.

Forgot to mention I left a pair of costas somewhere in 8, either on centerline rd or three tanks.

Scouting was good today saw a couple cows and a big bull. However...there are 2 pop up blind "IN" the roads.

One is on three tank road and is on centerline road close to three tank road. Folks in charge said there is nothing in regs about.

I encouraged them to add no hunting on named roads.

I will be avoiding those 2 areas.

I scouted for about 4 hours this evening. Saw a ton of hogs, a few deer and only a handful of nilgai but it was my first time seeing turkey out there so that’s pretty cool. I’m ready to get out there in the morning and get after it!

Did you see the turkey at the first gate ? That is where we saw them. Was that you i saw as I was leaving bout 2:45. I was in a red tundra. Well be at gate 1 in the morning
