That smell is horrible. You have to put the hook in the bait when you start it so you dont have to touch it when setting it.

We bailed out at 3 to let em soak. Fingers crossed and thanks T.roy for all the tips!

Edit...one thing I dont have in the boat that would be handy. Soap.

Cold water smells like rotten chicken after baiting. Latex gloves just didnt work out with the rain and sweating.

The yellow dishwashing gloves work like a charm or chemical gloves if a buddy works in the plants.

Another bait that works for me and drives me nuts that it does is the cheapest Cornish game hens you can buy. run the leader line thru the butt and out the neck, I guess it looks like a bird dangling there.

One of the Nephew's chickens died the other day, he told me use her to get a big'un because "Big bait catches big gators!!!" #sevenyearoldlogic

I dont know the number. We followed an employee down. But it's the furthest south they got from the map.

I'm hoping for one but 2 would be better. We're supposed to be loaded in by noon. It wont hurt my feelings to be done by 8...[emoji16]

I wanted to do that but wasnt sure they wanted to inspect the hooks.

A 7'6" and a 6. There was one 10+ and may have been on bigger.

                          Lots of gators taken today

Ask what was taken in compartment #3. If not much ask for it then call me or pm me and I will tell you where to set your lines.

They didn't let us pick. It went by type 9f boat. They did say the biggest they've seen was in our unit.

Probably 15 of 20 tagged in today. 3 over 10 foot
