Probably glad you didn't find him.

Yeah, I left my snake boots in the truck.

We went a few nights ago and saw 3. No shots.

            Is there any areas flooded?

I wouldn't say flooded, but the water is definitely higher in a few spots. I was a muddy sob when I was done.

I'll second that. I almost lost my boot twice trying to get out of my canoe on shore lines.

How about the boat dock area across from it and towards the camp site?

The primitive launch isn't too bad. The camp site side has a lot of steep areas. The areas that aren't steep are deep with soft mud. It's doable, just messy. Not sure about the camp site itself. Haven't been down there in a few weeks.

I'm thinking of doing some scouting this weekend

I was wondering if there is any one on here willing to give me and two friends a ride to the primitive camp by boat. I have a kayak but not enough to get all of us and our gear there. It would be a drop off the morning of the 8th and pick up the evening of the 9th. I would pay for gas and add a little cash for the inconvenience. I know it's deer season so it's a long shot but my younger cousin has a long weekend from the army and wants to come hunt pigs.

                              Bloodweed, aka Giant Ragweed

Bloodweed because its prickles give blood blisters. Shedding pollen right now and jackin my sinuses up...and giving hogs cover not forage.

I have never had an issue with bloodweed and skin reactions. Bull nettle on the other hand sucks donkey balls and will blister you.
