Well today I stalked that whole area of gate 9 not a single sign of any hogs. Then checked out 7 no signs either just about 14 deer running around.

Last hour before dark...they come off the creek to feed out in the crp.

Last year this time there was a sounder of 70 or so pigs together...if u have been hunting in the mornings u are stabbing yourself in the junk....I have had way more success in the late eve, just before dark.

When u hunt in the mornings unless it's first light, you are hunting bedded pigs that 90 percent of the time jump up from a briar patch or downed pecan tree and run like Usain bolt the Jamaican sprinter...in the eve's they are leaving their beds and coming out to feed.
