Sorry, Sneaky. I went out looking for hogs in the relative direction that Chief mentioned in the hopes that I'd get lucky and find his buck for him. No luck. I did run into a few other hunters and a few game wardens. I hope you get him back soon. I'll be out looking again a couple times this week.

Navy, sorry man. I wish Jenna and I could of come out to help. Cant break a date with my daughter for Christmas tree buying, decorating and christmas cartoons. She said she wanted to go, but not till the presents were wrapped, and tree decorated. We could of made it out today. However, glad you called it off. They grow up too quick. You only a few years with them little.

I just got word that somebody went out there last night or this morning and took it. I can't even begin to explain how upset I am right now. Situation last night

I was hunting last night and walked out via the trail back to the my car parked at the trail head for the PC. I have walked the trail that has the red gate that runs along the private land fences for years to access the PC area. Last year on my way out the guy that has a feeder and stand at the house right near the red gate came up to me chest bowed up chewing my *** for walking the trail and saying " f-ing hunters always mess with my deer hunting etc etc.
So last night I'm walking out after dark on the same trail approaching red gate and I see a truck pulling along road with a spot light...I think ok just the Game warden no problem gives me a chance to chat with him. I cross the gate from the public land to the raid to walk to my vehicle and this truck rushes up to with spotlight on me and this guy yells out "what are you doing? Do you know his is private land?" He said I saw your light from my house. What are you hunting? At this point not yet realizing who he was I asked if he was the GW and he says no. I move closer to the vehicle and see it's the guy from last year. I tell him I was hunting the PC and waking trail out. He says you cannot hunt here, I stated I was not hunting but using public trial to access hunting area. He went on to tell me he just doesn't want people walking his fence line etc etc and that he has been told to report any People walking trail to GW.
I said ok, we exchanged a few more words and he went off and got my license plate.

Question is...I have walked this trail for years. Never had a problem. Do y'all walk this trail? Can I walk this trail to access area? I have never been told by and official that I cannot.

Lol. I can tell you it's south up the road from the circle drive parking area for the trail head.

The ****** has spotted a big buck and is trying to coax it to his property and is harassing public land hunters to stop using the trail and spooking "his" deer...maybe he should've researched the lay of the land before he purchased so he wouldn't have this problem. I would suggest calling GW on him for hunter harassment. If it's happened to you I bet it happens to everyone this guy sees using the trail access...

I understand that he wants to perfect his hunting I would also. But it's also the cost of hunting next to a public land hunting area. He told me I needed to be at least 300 ft away from the property line at all times. And that the trail is not to be used by hunters accessing the PC.
Really he ****** me off as he did last year by his approach. Treating me like a poacher or something and pulling up as if he was the GW.

I know exactly which trail your talking about and as long as you stay on the main trail your on wma/park land. Hes acting like a jack a. You were nicer about it than i would have been. Fos about the game warden. Just trying to scare people away.
