Hey guys and gals, I'm stationed up in fort hood and the woods have filled to the brink with all the deer hunters coming out last minute scaring off all the hogs, anyone willing to take a traditional guy on a spot and stalk hunt? Should be free most weekends throughout nov. I'm just looking to take my first hog.

Me and sneaky went out today and hit both sides by the prim boat launch, tons of acorns and tons of pecans, one dropped and hit sneaky so he ate it....lol...all we saw was a ton of fresh hog sign, alot of deer, and someones tent east in that pecan grove close to that creek where the hogs wallow...it looked like someone meth lab setup, lol I didnt go near it, these rangers and wardens need to enforce these camping rules, I am seeing people starting to camp wherever the blank they want...I wouldnt have a problem if they picked up their trash...thats why we have people running around with spotlights and deer rifles out there....messing up our hunting. Anyway I wouldnt be baiting with corn with all this protien on the ground in my opinion, also I found a couple lockons still in trees from last year and someones camo trash can feeder, didnt touch any but I am guessing the thieves only want cameras. Happy hunting boys...

I had an epiphany. ....picking my yard acorns and making hand Vanilla acorns...you can thank me later

Comehere deer and I went out this morning at Gate#6. We planned to hunt the area between #5 and #6. We walked thru the old road and went left, and all of the sudden we heard a piglet squealing. Piglet was being chased by a bob cat. Comehere deer shot at the bob cat but missed. Piglet went to him and he grabbed it. We took some video and let her go.

I shot a hog with my xbow and had about 9 inches of penetration.( weigh about 100 lbs.) Trailed the blood for about 400 yards and lost it. No hog but we had fun.

Couldn't get the gw on phone so Texted license plates to derrick the guy running deer hunting, and asked him to forward it to game warden and park rangers. Couldn't tell if they were chasing hogs, but whatever they were doing wasn't legal.

That's pretty crazy that the piglet ran up to y'all. You gonna post the video? And it's seems like y'all been getting into them pretty regular just losing them after hits, at least your getting action I need to get back out there it's been too long

If there are guys running hogs with dogs we won't see hogs for awhile. Hopefully the GW invest some time in granger to get the trash (people hunting with rifles/shotguns and dogs for hogs) out of there so the honest hunters can harvest these hogs!
