Just so you know. It's not legal to camp in other spots besides designated areas.

We do the GRXH at the primitive camp.

Pay-up date for most of the hunts is 10-18. The first guys drawn that didn't pay, those spots go into a second draw.
I was drawn for the Pedernales gun hunt 11/18-20
I'm pending second draw on several as well.
And I got one of the 1340 doe permits for Sam Houston National.

"Pending 2nd Draw" means you were not selected the first draw and your entry will be included in a 2nd Draw, if any of the first draw winners do not pay for their permits. Those who won a permit on the first draw have to pay for the permit by a certain date. Second draw takes place after that date, provided there are some permits that were not paid for. Hope this helps.

Heres a couple pics out of a few hundred I got before my camera was stolen, A family of at least 10 hogs, a spike doe and fawn and a coyote all on camera.
I think Im gonna try and make it out this Saturday morning.

Wow, that game cam photo is a hoss! With the price of beef I need to get out and stick one. Ground Pork works just as well as beef in tacos and chili.

Wild game innovation white ice 4...got it for $50 at dicks..was trying to find cheapest possible in case it was stolen. ..which it was and I had it in a lock box that fit it perfect I got from Amazon for $20

Thinking about going Monday evening after the front blows through. My way of thinking is this, if it's windy they will stay bedded and the wind covers the sounds I make plus the wet ground will make it even quieter. So is there anyone who might be interested in tagging along? Not looking for a large group just one or two to keep things stealthy. So let me know.
