I will be gluing up a set of recurve limbs myself

When I told him Holly wanted one, he had it ready in a week! He already had the riser made though from a previous project.

I've seen your work.

IMHO you can do that kind of work. You just take your time.

That is going to make a really good looking riser. Nice wood combo

Werewolf -- Yeah, that is a really nice wood combo, that makes for a pretty sharp looking bow.. I have used it in the past on another bow I made. Lee's riser is Zebrawood and the stripes are Padauk and Wenge. When the finish gets applied the Paduak will turn a lot more red in color and the Wenge will be almost black.

Oh good!!! Maybe I misunderstood originally. I loved that red one and when you sent me pics of the new colors (without the red), I was under the impression that there would be no red in mine. Glad there will be!!
