Just had 2 pigs come by. I shot at 1. Wasn't a "whack" when my arrow arrived. The pig didn't show any sign of being injured but I will climb down and check in a little while.

I'm embarrassed to say how close the shot was! Dang it[emoji13]

It's gonna be a touch warm this weekend I'm going anyway though. I need to get a doe ok the ground though because next weekend looks good.

It's confirmed, it's a clean miss.
I'm back in the tree now hanging my head. Thats what happens when you rush your shot!

I will shoot my bow when I get home just to make sure everything is dialed in still.

Didn't see any movement in my area.

So with the warm weather and full moon im sure some of you guys are not enthusiastic about hunting this weekend... Well i got a confirmed sighting of a big buck chasing a doe here in Montgomery and ive noticed my group of does at the house has kinda busted up leaving the yearlings by themselves.. All this points in the direction of the Rut kicking off so yall get out there! I know it seems a little early in the month for all that but its a different year and a different story. Never know when ole Big is gonna come strolling by your stand..
