That sux. I’m west of you and got in at 5:30am and nothing but birds. Did have a very weird smell when I arrived to my blind. It sorta had a burning smell like incense. I still barely smell it once and a while still but is was strong just outside my blind

I think I just figured it out. Son broke off a few cedar branches and stuck on blind. I don’t know if it’s due to the constant rain but it’s those branches that are now almost all brown that stink. Do you have any on yours? Never had cedar do that before.

I’m going back out mid day and moving blind across fence from where I’m at now. No one hunts around there and not dealing with the cows. Lol

Have any of y'all ever hunted the public land at San Angelo State Park? I know a spot in 9 I want to hunt that I hunted last year, but thought I may at least check out the land at the State Park since that's where I'm camping.
