I'm already looking forward to getting the book and throwing in my $3.00 a pop. For me it's better then Christmas morning waiting for the draw results.

I was trying to put in for the Big Game hunts for my daughter. It wont let me buy her any entries because she is not 17 but she has a license and I can pull her up through the system. I was told that that kids, especially girls have a better chance of getting drawn for something.
I dont want to buy some entries under my name unless that does not matter. I would take her with me anyway and let her do the shooting.

Am I doing something wrong on the site for the Big Game hunts???

Kids are not eligible for the Big Time Texas Hunts. Kids are eligible for the regular drawing system hunts.

The online drawing system is really easy to use. You just need to take time and read about all the different hunting opportunities. Last year I drew an Elephant Mt Archery mule deer tag. First time I applied and was lucky enough to draw. No luck on the hunt but saw several nice ones. Several great hunts worth drawing for year in and year out. Good luck!
