We had a very successful hunt there last year and saw plenty of other deer checked in.

I'm betting there wasn't 1500 people there the day before your hunt.

I have had successful hunts on draw hunts and some not so successful. and HC does get daily activity and shows decent success annually for their hunts, but not to the extreme of this particular run and the timing of the hunt. they could have put the hunt off another week and probably showed more success. just saying, been there done that after this particular event and I'm not wasting my time again.

Robin, you can call TPWD number, and withdraw yourself from the hunt. I had to do so on one of my hunts, when I decided I didn't want to waste my PP's on a certain area, was not a problem !!!
