I was over on A lake this evening setting up a duck blind for the last day of the season this year. It's gonna be a long summer till dove and early teal season in Sept .

I did see three groups of piggies, mostly black ones. And had one sow go fifty yards down wind to check me out. Guess I don't smell to good .

I was done at 9AM. Had I hit what I was shooting at, I would've been done at 8 . Good way to end the season this morning (sigh).

Pickles is one year old this month. I just hope she don't forget what they smell/taste like by next season . Been saving wings for training during the off season. Wonder if I can pull a duck-bow hunt off next year?
