Was out to corn up a couple spots Sunday Morning and man was there alot of trucks out there. 1st parking area 5 trucks. 2nd Parking area 4 trucks. Went to a third hoping less folks would be hunting in that particular area....I was wrong. I need a boat

Yep. A few people will be hunting. If yu get to your set up early enough they might just push a few to you.

rain from last week made every single track out there clear as day. There are some massive hogs out there! There are no deer at Whitney

I plan on getting in my spot maybe 2 hrs before daylight, I put in too much work this summer to go in and somebody be in my spot, all my eggs are in one basket right now.

We went and dropped some corn today and put a mock scrape or two up. I saw someone had marked the trail going out to where I've been working I think I'll get there pretty early myself, but not too early, we have a football game Friday in Penelope won't be back till like midnight. On the other site though I did see a lot of sign plus a few hog tracks

I have done that a time or two . Got there like just after midnight. So I went on in and just slept in the tree. I've slept in a lot of trees. (Someone else on here knows that for a fact .)

That brings to mind a question. Is that the same as "sleeping around"?

There will be to many boats at the ramp to put in. And no place on the shoreline to beach. (that's part of the reason I'm staying home. To many people)

October: has the best of all worlds. It can be very warm in the beginning. And usually has a good cold front blow through at some point. With cooler nights toward the end. The leaves and foliage can be super green to start. And will begin to change before it's over. And look for the meteor shower at night. You know Fall is here when October rolls around .

There's a few other things that happen in the Big O. But I'll keep those to my self.

Almost finished with all the projects around the house. Bedroom furniture being delivered wed. and 1 window seal and 1 baseboard left to prime and paint in bedroom and I'm done. Just paid someone to cut tree down in my back yard. I just didn't have the time and wanted it done before season started. Now I can enjoy deer season and relax.

TG, you forgot about sleeping in your pop ups and boat
