10 days till we hunt this place....talked to the guy and he said that last year they had 4 real nice bucks killed...he said they had 100% kill last year. We are pumped!!!

When I was at that hunt, most of the deer were in the park next to my trailer. I would see them every morning as I headed to stand, then I wouldn't see anything at my stand. -

I did not see any deer at the stand. These are assigned by the staff, so it is luck of the draw. I hope you fair better.Comment

We hunted a doe and spike hunt there 4-5 years ago. 2 of the 3 of us got a deer. And we all saw deer. I don't remember much about the stand location. I know the one that me and my grandpa both got a deer out was a long box blind that could hold 4 people sitting shoulder to shoulder that was on the ground looking over a small field that was on the edge of a creek. Ill look on a map and see if I can find the spot and post a picture of it.Comment

My son got drawn last year for youth hunt. they had 100% success. Lots of deers. He shot 2 on the last day. I think we were in blind number 7 for the first 2 hunts and didn't see any, then blind 1, which looked like a great spot, but didn't see any. the last hunt i think we were in blind A, and he shot 2 and we saw a lot more.
The people were awesome. They made it clear that it was their goal to get everyone at least one deer. they went above and beyond what i was expecting. Great experience!Comment

I still have pics of inks lake when I was a kid... deer walk up to you and eat out of your hand around the camps... very cool memory for meComment
