I had plans on going out this morning but a friend of mine, yesterday evening, shot a huge Sika buck that showed up on his property. We were up way too late last night for me to make a morning hunt, so I will try again this afternoon!

Brushed in at the base of a tree. No idea what I'm doing, but that's never stopped me before. I can definitely see the appeal of climbing a tree, I should probably get a stand and get on that. Just as I recalled an E-Tool makes a field expedient chair, but a very uncomfortable one!

Tod, if you have a smart phone, there's an ap called Hunt Cal. It think it was either free or like a couple bucks. You can pull data for anywhere in the US. Ap has other features as well. You might try it as another alternative.
