The problem I keep running into is that they strut on private land. That and the fact that I'm stubborn, and have committed myself to take one with a bow instead of a shotgun.

Carrying a blind on your back gets awfully tiring.

First Snake of the Year

Almost forgot about this.

Saw my first snake of the year out there. Glad I had my snake boots! He was fairly vicious.

My son and I were walking around down by the lake today looking for little ponds to sneak attack some blue gills and we stumbled upon this. Too bad its a no hunting zone.

Got one bird to talk to me this morning, but he had cold feet.

Walked right into a group of pigs also, in waist high grass. Couldn't get a shot off... But that's not something I really wanna do again!

Walked out of there with 5 ticks I found on me just on the 15 minute ride home. They are thick out there, tuck it in and spray yourself down.

I took my dog out there for a track in early season last year and he was covered when we got home...My wife wasnt too happy with us
