In a stroke of luck I have a small acreage Im hunting that backs up to Corps land and have been baiting.All deer right now seem to be nocturnal.Comment

I have the same type of deal JQ...18 acre private that backs up to Gvine corps land. Experiencing the same with deer seeming to be hitting feeders at night if at all. I had one small buck under me one sit last week. He wasn't even close to being legal.Comment

Weird. I was out there yesterday, walked 4 1/2 miles and saw XX.
(Classified). There are NO deer at Grapevine.
I did smack one rabbit.
Might just have to ditch the feeders guys. Some deer will never come to one. Usually the ones that grow to be huge.Comment

Haven't seen any new hog activity lately. Had stuff to do around the house last weekend. Maybe Monday morning I'll head out there. I do need some more crock pot meat.Comment

I plan on getting out and doing some hog hunting now that Duck season is finally over.
I'll post when im goin out.
Also, don't forget guys, the surveys are due in March. I called up there, and I wanna say that she said March first... but I'm terrible about remembering anything even remotely related to numbers.Comment
