I hunted last night. The winds were strong until sunset then it really calmed down. I hunted a large acorn patch (not our secret spot basscast - wrong wind). I have scouted this spot several times. The first time it was covered with acorns. The second time it was covered with hog rooting. This time there wasn't an acorn on the ground and the ground was covered with deer tracks. They all looked like small deer. The acorns fell all evening as I sat there. If you find my spot, you will see the three deer pee cover scent plastic leaves I forgot hanging from a dead branch. Unfortunately I found a brush pile blind about 75 yards away that I didn't see on any scouting trip.

I didn't hear or see anything. I didn't even spook anything walking in or out.

I'll prob go farther back by the creek, maybe w a little cooler temp and light wind they will move this eve. Are you gonna be out this eve. ?

No. It is fight night.

Nothing. bad wind. Wind was out of the N-NW. I was thinking it was going to be a south wind.

Blood Trail, do you drive a ford p up? I saw prob 6 deer shortly before dark, shot a spike but light ran out and couldn't find him in the thick brush. I hate shooting deer right at dark.

A buddy just called me and said yall had posted that a deer was lost last night. I am getting off at 730 and can take the dog out there about 815ish....pm me if interested
