TPWD Archery Draw Results...

I've been calling. Have not drawn the archery hunts yet.
Deadline to apply was yesterday so....give 'em time to enter all the apps into the system...calculate preference points....and come back with "You have been drawn to hunt at Chaparral". ha
I've got a dream!

I have several hunts booked already this year, so I'm kinda just hoping for preference points this year. I actually put in for Chap this time because of that. If I mess up and get drawn, I'll suffer through it somehow.

I've only heard that twice in eight years of applying for numerous hunts. I usually get "sorry....you did not win a hunt in this category".

I call it celebrating Passover.

i was in yesterday to turn in my apps at teh austin office and they told me 17-18 they will be doing the drawings. so monday flood the phone lines!! lol

Every year, I take my boys on the youth hunts they have at Nannie Stringfellow WMA. The two guys that run the place are real good folks, and there are a lot of nice deer on the property. It's a good hunt. It's also about 30 minutes from my house.
