anybody been seeing many squirrels out there? wanna Kill a mess for a family cookout but don't have the first clue as to where to look on Hood....I heard by engineer lake is a good starting point?

Go in area 8N right along cow house creek there is a lot of pecan trees over there you will find some big squirrels there. Just remeber you cannot use a 22 on fort hood NO rim fire but you can shoot them with a 410.

Anyone got any feeder legs they don't need? I am trying to build a tripod for my feeder, have everything but the legs.

I bought heavy duty pipe at Metals 4 U in Austin, 3-7' legs were $21 total. I am replacing all of the thin ones that come with the feeders. The cows bend them too easy.

Yeah Hank I knew about the rimfires which kinda bugs me but hey a man that wants a squirrel dinner will shoot whatever he needs to to get 'em right!! Thanks to all the rest of you guys for the Ideas too. the 300's are a little far for me to drive, but I'll be getting into the rest of those SOON to load up on the furry little buggers!!

How y'all been doing out there. Aint seen no success stories so everyone must be stuck at work like me. Looks like I may be getting my orders to Arizona deleted in order to stay here. Should find out the final verdict sometime next week. Once it is in, and the outcome says I'm staying.............the scouting and hunting will resume in full force.

Nope just been fishing and chasing the live in Chinese maid around the house. Tin Can Sailors don't fall off of boats ..... they just hang on and puke when necessary.

Hey Lance I might be able to get you some in the next month, we have a project starting at work that uses it . Email me and let me know how long the pieces need to be and how many , I will dumpster dive for them
