I started hunting at the lake back in 1992, and its been like this almost every season. Once the acorns get eaten up or rot they'll start showing up more often.

Stopped and talked to a hiker today walking out and he had no idea that people were hunting. He was very appreciative for the info I gave him and said he would stay quiet and on the trails.

Killed a doe this morning in unit 12. Aged her at 8.5 years.

Wow congrats that's what you call a mature doe definitely better hunting than last week had a couple small bucks come in all after 6:30 nothin special but good to see some deer coming in

65#s. Crazy thing is that another hunter brought another 8.5 year old doe in to be checked in as well. Guess it was the day for the old ladies to be stupid!

Thank you RS3 and your great dogs I also brought in an 8 1/2 yo but the beauty was 90 lbs. 3 deer checked at Tejas 3 deer at least 8 1/2. Again thank you RS3.
