OK....mulligan....first one looked too purple once it got on the green background. I didn't notice it so much on grey.

    2nd one.....this is fun, Bill.

I like both Shane. The vignetting(sp) on the first one is cool and maybe needs a touch more. How'd you do that? I only get it using a zoom lens at the lowest focal point (17mm). First pic was at 400mm and about an 80 yard shot.

Bill, Lightroom will add vignettes - either black or white (maybe other colors??). You can adjust various aspects of the vignette. Lightroom 3 beta version is a free download if you want to try it. At least I think they are still offering it.

Yeah, it looks like it's still available here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom3/

You import a photo(s) into your catalog, select the one you want to work on and open the Develop module. The vignette controls are near the bottom of the controls that scroll up and down on the right side of the screen.

I'd be glad to work on it to get to your liking. If you'd send me the RAW or full-sized JPEG it would come out a little better. shanejennings@suddenlink.net

Here's a couple of different ideas. My first thought was to pull the background out of focus a little further to enhance the subject and give the image a little more depth. Since the haze gave a feel of solitude, I played that a little further, but brought back in a warmer feel to make it inviting. In the last one, I cropped it just a bit so the elements led your eye around the image.

              Hey, it's all subjective though...
