A simple LDP or better yet LDV recap might have made it more (complete), but I think it was very well done.
For some reason, people shoot iPhone video vertically. I guess it's just natural. You can rotate or resize it in your editor to make it fit, but try to remember to film horizontal if you need to use it again. Even with a GoPro, I still use iPhone footage on occasion.
Just think, if that was a proffesional hunting show you could have yelled out "I smoked him!" and talked about how great of a shot it was because of the equipment you are using.
Since you seem to be a regular person like the rest of us it was a poor shot, but a great recovery. Congratulations on the buck and the video. Very nice.

I've been thinking of getting a iPhone mount that can attach to the blind to film me drawing back and the reaction after the shot. The drawing back part was filmed way before the deer was shot with the same camera.

I, for one, appreciate not having to watch 5 minutes of the same deer mulling around a feeder. I like 'to the point' videos. In fact, when they start playing and show as being over 3 minutes, I'm out.
