Just wrapped up my 2nd video of the year.
Terrible shot I know I was shaking like a leaf, but I did manage to catch liver and with the help of a tracking dog the deer was recovered.

What else would you like to see?
I didn't want to have to much of the deer walking around and what not because of a previous recommendation, I couldn't do a blood trail part because of the poor shot but plan on having that on my next video.

I guess I was thinking it kind of felt incomplete. Maybe I was looking for your initial reaction, or maybe what was running thru your mind after the shot. There was a tracking dog that would've made for some great video. (I'm sure you weren't thinking about a video at the time of tracking tho) I'm just now getting into self video (haven't got a kill on camera yet) it's a pretty tuff achievement, so please don't take my criticism in the negative way. I'm pretty envious. The editing was awesome! But just felt incomplete to me.
Have you got the "all about the video" DVD from TBH? If you haven't, I'd recommend it. It's got a lot of tips in self video. Heck, I'll send you my copy if you want me to. Just let me know. Still a pretty awesome video and a heck of a statement that you didn't give up on finding him!!

I actually have video of the dog jumping the deer and it being finished off with a pistol but I'm wasn't sure how some would take it and the video is off a iphone (still good quality) but I turned the camera and it auto rotated the wrong way and is sideways on the computer and cant finish it.

I have a Go Pro 3 in my near future so I believe that will give me a bunch of good video to tack on with reactions and hopefully a reverse angle.
