Well nothing left to do but pray for a good ending. I am beat. Got home late last night after securing our family home on the ICW and hauling my boats north. I got a bad feeling what we will come back and find. It's been a great run. Built in 79 and four generations of our family have made great memories.

Last big cane... I bought a pallet... yes a pallet of gas cans at a Walmart in college station ...filled them up and brought them back to spring to help friends with generators..
I have NO idea where they hell all those gas cans went... disappeared when we moved to montgomery

Go get a empty oil barrel from a oil lube place and fill it up.

Is the boat still tied down to the trailer, is it better to let it float free?

Plugs in it and just the bow strap. Front of trailer should float with the boat and the rear will stay within the the guide posts.

VEC notified me yesterday that they were going to shut off power between 4 and 6. They have already had several outages. Sigh.
