Drought and food plots

I am planting this weekend regardless the forecast in Bryan County, OK. I think it will be okay with the cooler weather and there is some rain in the forecast.

I got mine planted saturday Don. I dont know about at your house, but we got over an inch out here this morning and afternoon

We poured out 1.4” this morning and top planted some Daikon radish and medium red clover. Plots were plenty damp so we should have green in a few days.

Always impressed with how clean/prepped your seed beds are sir! Hope you get rain on the next forecasted shot we have in east Texas early next week.

We planted 12 acres in oats Sat. Got a nice 8/10 last night. Gonna wait for fertilizer though. Long term rain not looking good

Planted 16 sacks last week and .30 today so not much help there

Plots got a drink yesterday and last night.
3/4" should be good as long as it rains again in the next 2-3 weeks.

Planted two acres on 10/9. Got 1.3" on it yesterday. Will get out there this weekend to see what's coming up, assuming the e-fence is keeping the cows out.
