Still catching. But coyotes are being elusive

This was a first for me.

They seem like a solid trap. I bought a bunch of chain from them when I bought the traps. I like their coated chain for my drags.

Nice ! Those trash pandas are crazy thick on our place. Was pig hunting last night and there was 8 under the feeder :- (.

You all are still doing great.
Our trapping season is over, sitting here now looking at about 8 inches of snow and I'm sure a good foot up where we trap and it's still coming down.

That hog would have been great for the smoker if it wasn't too stressed, neat catch !

My lease manager set some snares on the bottom wire on our back fence line. I’m about 100% sure he’s going to be catching a deer or hog. I told him :-/

Sharkhunter your exactly right. I’ve caught deer in holes under high fence you would never dream they would use. You put snares in holes in a regular fence your pretty much guaranteed to catch deer. I guess a few deer will have to be sacrificed to teach the guy a lesson.

Brute you are wearing those coons out. I grew up trapping with my grandad in the last of the fur boom, and I kills me to toss them in the brush.

I'd rather have coyotes, but fewer coons will help the turkeys.
This one makes 10 for me
Yep. She's in a coyote set.

Finally picked up another coyote. Young female.
                            She hates mesquite bushes.

So question about predator control rates. What is a good rate to trap 2 or 3k hf ranch say for a week? Is it by the head or flat rate?
