Not sure on age. 4/5. But I would shoot him if you feed protein.

If you don’t feed protein, he might be a good deer just a result of the dry season we had in the hill country.

I’d pass on him for now. I don’t shoot bucks unless I know for absolutely sure it’s a deer that fits established management guidelines.

If it’s a matter of taking out numbers, I kill doe. So I say pass
