Not typically a spike shooter and certainly not any 1.5 year old spikes but this one might have to go. He's no yearling.

Not holding it against you for shooting him. Actually I wouldn't hold it against anyone for shooting a spike, just don't call it management....

I hunt on a MLD3 place and all spikes with 4" or longer spikes and not a yearling is on the shot list. The game biologist dosen't want the inferior genes that a spike will produce. We don't use our tags so it dosen't count as a buck for us.
