I read on another site that if you shoot an exotic from a neighboring ranch and they can prove it was theirs then you are liable for damages. Just like if someone's cow hot out and was on your place you can't just kill it... Legally

Just something to think about if anyone is in that situation.

I figure if it aint tagged or branded, its running around loose and it aint a native species to Texas....it's just like any other feral critter that crosses your path!!!

I would let the air outa that sucker in a heartbeat if it got anywhere near my set!!

Siberian Ibex check with game warden before you shoot it cause i believe that is one of the animals on the list with the scymitar horned oryx where you have to have a special permit to kill them but that might be just to sell hunts on them

Not true ! I shot a red stag when I was 14 behind my grandparents house and the game warden told us as long as there was no tag there was no problem.

In oklahoma you are clear to shoot it. Where abouts are you if a ranch is nearby the kind thing would be to let them know you saw it. More than likely they will say shoot it.
