If you're hunting Hagerman, go with sticks. X-Stand makes a decent set that are pretty lightweight along with muddy and lone wolf. You're gonna pay for em though.

If you don't care so much about weight but are really looking for something that packs easily, Ameristep Rapid Rails are pretty nice. Sportsmansguide has a nock off version from Big Dog treestands for $35 for 3. I like 4 to get to around 20 ft or more.

You can do the stick ladder thing, but they ain't light.

On a side note, you can get 4 sticks and a stand at right around 30lbs with X-Stand's Backcountry package.

The singles are great if you have help, but there are lots of ropes and tying off involved when doing the singles when you're solo. When I first started using them, I'd strap one, climb down, grab another, climb up, strap it, so on and so forth. That will wear you out and takes forever. With 1 continuous stick, once I leave the ground the first time, to start strapping the stick ladder, my feet don't touch the ground again until my stand is hung and ready to hunt.
With my LoneWolf sticks I link them all together and attach to my harness. If you lay them out on the ground right you can pull them up as you go.
Not sure how the other brands work doing this

I put my stand up at Hagerman this morning, linked sticks and attached lifeline to stand and other end to harness. Made one trip up tree and had sticks and stand in place, tied off lifeline, attached harness to that and descended.
I use a lineman's strap (came with HSS harness) to hang sticks and stand

Just got some Lone Wolfs and will be trying them out at the H in 2 weeks. Pumped! Watch the youtube videos and see how some of the guys do it. It makes sense, but I'll see how it works in the real world here in couple weeks....
