What kind of harness do you guys suggest? I'm not new to bowhunting and not new to hunting out of a tree, but I am sad to say I have never been smart enough to put a harness on. However, now with a 13 month old boy I figure it's a good idea for me to invest in one.

I started using a rock climbing harness this year.

If your asking for peoples fav brand, I can't help as I have limited experience.

What kind of harness do you guys suggest? I'm not new to bowhunting and not new to hunting out of a tree, but I am sad to say I have never been smart enough to put a harness on. However, now with a 13 month old boy I figure it's a good idea for me to invest in one.

It's really a matter of preference. I wear a hunter safety system and don't really like it. When I'm walking I feel like it pulls on my neck and the leg straps are wide a chafe the heck out of my legs on a warm day with a long walk. That said, I LOVE their buckles. Easy on/off.

I wore a muddy harness last weekend and really liked it. Narrower straps on the legs and the V in the back of the harness, behind the neck, is deeper so I don't feel like it puts pressure on my neck like the HSS does.

I'm going to try on a tree spider harness at Cabelas to see how I like it. Might be getting a new one.
