Yeeeaaahhh im still saying it's a bad idea. I've shot woods from my trad bows plenty. But my compound has over a 355 IBO. Not gonna chance it.

If you go to Home Depot, in the lumber section they have wood rods already cut but none of them are straight and I can bet none are strong enough either...

after you spend all the time and energy to research, buy materials to make one or two or 10 arrows, then risk shooting them,,, it'll just be worth it for you to go buy a dozen carbon and get on with your shooting safely...
