    Broadhead tuning

So after buying a new Broadhead target and spending more then a few hours watching how to videos on YouTube, I tried to broadhead tune my bow. I shot a fp about an inch from bullseye the first shot, shot the same arrow same weight BH same everything and noticed I was far left of the target. I have a whisker biscuit rest so based on the information i gathered I needed to adjust the rest opposite the direction the arrow hit to bring back to center. I started noticing the shot placement was getting further and further left so I actually brought the rest back further the left and now I can shoot a 3 group set in the inner ring within 2 to 3 inches apart... only thing is my fp are now hitting far left now is this normal? I've read fp's and BH's should fly normal.. I've paper tuned my bow just need to know if I still need to adjust anything?

Basically I'm asking if a fp and a BH are not shooting close the bow is not in tune correct.. or do I just stick to what's working with the broadhead... need help here guys it's driving me crazy

If your field points and fixed blade broadheads are not hitting at the same spot, you have a tuning issue. Google the Easton tuning guide, it has a great section in Bh tuning.

You may have a spine issue. What draw weight, draw length, arrow flex, arrow length, BH weight?

Well I'm shooting Carbon Express Piledrivers according to my poundage which is 61# and arrow length which is 29 inches I went by the chart and I needed the 250 size.. I'm sure I'll need to adjust the nocking point and then adjust the rest.. does the D loop adjust up and down easily??? just had that replaced

What I have found and I'm no expert just learning like you, is after you make an adjustment shoot both a broad head and a field point. Just because your broadhead didn't hit where your field points were originally hitting doesn't mean that the adjustment was wrong. Today, I made an adjustment because my broadheads were hitting to the right. I moved my rest inward, towards the riser, which made my broadheads hit even farther to the right of my original field points (at first I thought that can't be right). When I shot a field point it was dead on with the broadhead. All I had to do then was sight in my field points again and I'm good to go.

No they don't slide up and down. Can you adjust the elevation on the wb? Some wb models can

The one I have doesn't gauge height it does have markers for left and right.. I may just have to adjust nocking point.

May also be a form issue not bow tune. Have seen it in tuning bows where a certain form problem isn't really revealed until BH's are shot. Good luck in getting her tuned!

I move mine all the time, never had issues with it.

I can't move mine guess they are tighter than yours. The only loops I have seen that move up or down is a torque less or catfish loop. Let me rephrase my previous statement. I can't move mine
