Glad it got better. Gt500 is a great bow but that specific model had some tuning issues. I know some shops were putting shims in the axels to move the cams over. Hope you got her dialed in, sounds like you are close.
Because you don't wanna mess with the rest touching the bow. It should be set a certain distance away from bow( usually enough for a paper to slide through bearly) and you don't move it after that.
You wanna move your mocking point ( d loop)
