    broad head fail

A buddy sent these pictures of a broad head that looks to have just broke apart. He said his son shot a buck this past weekend. When they went to track, found little to no blood where the deer was standing, the arrow was 10-12' from there. Arrow had blood on what was left of BH and up to the insert where the broad head screws in. I have seen bent, broke blades, and tips, never seen one do this. His son said he thinks he hit mid ribs, he thinks he hit shoulder. They went back several hours later followed blood for couple hundred yards, brought in dog later, never found the deer. BH was a Carbon Express F15.

Stand off to the side of them when they are shot. You will understand why they are called a F15. They soind like a F15 in flight.

                    guessing sometimes more IS less.

wish it would have ended better.

                          I've got 1 F-15, guess I won't be using it on a deer.

Tell him to hang in there and keep his chin up. It happens and he had a BH working against him.
