i rifle hunt most of the time and have for the past 10 years or longer hunted in a hay ring that has the panel on the bottom of it. I turn it upside down so all the deer can see is my head and legs. this is at my grandparents ranch and they are used to seeing the hay ring and the deer have no idea that I flipped it over or even pay attention. I have had some deer come really close and not see me. I am not saying I would bow hunt this way but just my .02
