I had a Z-28 a couple of years ago and sold it to get a Destroyer. It was definately a shooter. I miss Elite's customer service and will be selling my Destroyer soon. I hope to find an Answer or Pulse to shoot and make my decisions from there. Glad to see in some previous posts that the Bastrop shop will be a dealer since thats not too bad of a drive for me!

My buddy Sean carries one with him on the weekends but he never shoots it regardless of how many deer are in front of him

Outfitters in Bryan are an Elite Dealer. Give Eddie or John a call @979-260-9831. Don't know if they have any 2013's in stock. Great people to work with.

Smoked this doe with my pulse. Love the solid back wall and speed / kinetic energy generated by the 30 inch draw and 60 lbs limbs paired with my 29.5" FMJs. I

I shot Mathews up until I shot an Elite Synergy Extreme and bought it 3 years ago. The next year I picked up a used GTO in excellent condition to have a second Elite in the stable. I like Elite so well that I shot the Answer back in the spring to try it out but left the shop without ordering one. It ate on me all summer long and I just got back this weekend from ordering a new 2013 Elite Answer from Jerry at Rednek Booda Outdoors. The new Cerekote finish on the cams, limb pockets, and rods is awsome. Mine will be here in 4 to 6 weeks and I hope it is in time to run a Slick Trick thru a deer or 2 before the season is over.

Elite is not out to win the speed race. They just make the best built, smoothest drawing/shooting bow with decent speed (real IBO numbers). And the best warranty in the business.

Go shoot one and I bet you fall in love.

Shooting 2009 gt500 here its at LnL right now getting a new string and cams sync right now really don't want to go pick it up cause Larry has some of the 2013's in right now might be a costly trip.

Gt500 here. And love it. Great customer service getting new. Cams for my draw length was super easy.

It's starting to look like the word is out here in Texas. It's surprising to me that more dealers don't carry them. I asked a nearby shop owner and she said people just weren't buying them. I think it speaks to the marketing dollars spent by the big guys versus elite. I knew what I wanted in a bow. Decent speed, smoothness, solid back wall and a great warranty. I got it all with the Answer. I bought it around a month and a half ago and couldn't be happier.

Edit: I just realized I already posted on this thread. Well, at least I'm consistent.

Most bow shops carry a good inventory of at least 3 of the big 4 bow companies ( Mathews, Bowtech,Hoyt, and PSE). When it comes to carrying some of the newer/smaller bow companies like Elite, Strothers, Obsession, etc, They may only have one or 2 of their bows on the racks and have to order one for a customer. When someone comes in looking to buy a new bow the shop pushes the big 4 because that's where they have their money tied up in the bigger inventory. Elite is advertizing on the hunting shows now and sponsers a couple so maybe people will start asking shops to carry them. Shooting an Elite is what sells them, they are that good.

I shoot an Elite Answer along with two BowTechs and a Hoyt. Each has properties I like and dislike. The Answer is a great bow. I'll just leave it at that.
