I shoot an Elite Judge. The only other brands I can relate it to would be a 2006 Bear Instinct and a 1985 Browning. And I don't meant to berate either of the older bows, they are what they are.
Vs. Bear, Elite is much easier to tune and shoot. I'm not into fast, but I do like to shoot a heavy arrow, and I like a longer A-A. No issues with the Bear, but I never got a comfortable feeling past 20 yards- still enough to take any deer.
Browning, considering it was a 1985, probably isn't worth compairing.
The tech info on the Elite website as well as the Elite forum is good, but I haven't been to the other brand forums. With the Elite you do get the lifetime warranty.
Sorry Jmac I don't have any additional info.

Just got a 2012 Answer. This thing is sweet. The draw on this thing siky smooth and there is absolutly No creep. I could hold this thing at full draw for days. Registered it in less than 5 minutes and bought it used. I will be looking for some 30" Smooth Mods soon. This is the only thing I don't like about Elite Bow. I love my Insanity, but the Answer will be headed to the stand with me tomorrow PM.

I've got an Answer. Their customer service is what did it for me. Well, that and the fact that its the best bow I've ever shot. I've had difficulty with manufacturers in the past and decided from this season on I should be able to send ANYTHING attached to my bow back to a manufacturer and have it fixed for free if there's something wrong with it. Just as an example, the answers are known for having troubles with their servings on the '12 models. Not a huge deal but I was worried that I'd be in the middle of hunting season and experience an issue so I called Elite in advance and they sent me two new sets served with Halo. I've had nothing but positive experience since.
