If i had to choose between the two I would say the assassin, they say mathews is smooth drawing just wait till you pull back a 70lb assassin it feels like its about 55 lbs on the draw it super smooth almost everything about the bow is awsome the only thing I can compalin about is the grip but they said that the grip comes of and you can put the invasion wood grips in, and the cheap rest other than that the bow is awsome and from the fac you get it at 599 for the camo and 650 for the black ops or at least thats what our local pro shop sells for.... And the bow is fast at 333fps, personaly I think that it is alot more bow for what there selling it for. Just in my opinion at the price its at its a steal form bowtech.

Good luck making the decision...I'll be curious as to what you end up with being that you already shoot a Mathews bow...

I used to shoot a Mathews DXT, however I'm about 45 mins from shooting an Assassin and Invasion. I don't bleed a particular brand like most, I let the deer do that. I'll post my opinion and which bow I'm going with later.

I shoot 2 inch circles at 30yards all day long with my Bowtech Diamond Black Ice. I hear the invasions by Bowtech are pretty popular. I would try a few bowtechs if I were you and see which one feels better. I have shot Mathews Bows before and I am not as big of a fan. My prefrence though.

I like my Diamond Marquis made by bowtech but thier customer service $ucks. Shoot as many different kinds as you can and then make the choice.

I shot the Z7 Extreme, and I hated the short a2a it's only 28 inches or thereabouts, and I prefer to shoot a longer axle to axle.

I went in with every intention of buying a Mathews and I walked out with a BowTech Destroyer 350. LOVE IT!

Shooting bows side by side tells you a lot, and your decision will be easy! Good luck!

the videos on both matthews and bowtech websites seem to be pretty convincing on each of their own product. i will be leaving soon to go shoot both. the earliest i will make a purchase is monday or so. it will give me a while to digest the information and make an informed well educated decision.

Well I got back from the Bow Shop today and I went in thinking the Invasion would win me over after seeing all the reviews...well I was wrong. I dont know what it was but the Assassin I thought felt much better. Drawing back on the Assassin felt like butter compared to the Invasion. The only down fall with the Assassin is the unwanted crappy accessories that its outfitted with. I wish you could buy this bow barebones because I would have walked out with it today provided the price tag reflected the option of having no accessories. If your a new bow hunter looking for a outfitted bow to get started with you would be crazy to not look at this setup.
