I just got the invasion and is by far the most accurate bow I have ever had. First group out of the bow all touching and killed one knock. This is the bow that fit me the best. Good luck with finding the right bow. I would go shoot everything!

I shoot a Bowtech Sniper and love it...
Its not about what your shooting, It all about shot placment... Just my opinion.

All bows are accurate when properly tuned. It's the indian, not the bow. I like my PSE Vendetta XL. I prefer 35-37" ATA and 7"+ BH. If you have not shot a PSE, they are certainly worth trying out. They cost less than Mathews and Hoyt, but offer just as much quality. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a fanboy. If I were going to buy a new Mathews, it would be a MR7. I'm not a big fan of the Invasion, but the Specialist is pretty nice. I like the Hoyt Carbon Matrix, but I can't bring myself to spend that much $$$. Just remember, almost all manufacturers (Hoyt, Mathews, PSE, Elite, Strother, Bowtech, Bear, Darton, etc) make a sweet bow, so shoot as many as you can before you make a decision. You would be doing yourself a dis-service to be a fanboy in todays bow market.

          Z-7 Extreme, 28 inch draw,(28 1/2 actual), 385 grain arrow 285-290 fps Price ?
Bowtech Invasion, 28 inch draw,(28 1/2 actual) same arrow 305 fps Price $899
Bowtech Assassin 28 inch draw,(true) same arrow, 300-302 fps Price $599 pkg.
I don't like the equipment Bowtech puts on the Assassin, but I really like this bow.
Shoot them all with these speeds and price in mind.
Z-7 and Invasion are smoother shooting than the Assassin, but I like the draw-cycle of the Assassin best.

Im a bowtech guy but shoot both and decide what fits you best. Just because your being pressured don't allow that to influence you into a 1000$ mistake and end up not liking the bow!!!
Big investment so shop smart and try before you buy

yea i shot the z7extreme and invasion today....both are very nice bows, i wish the shop had stuff on the bows so i could accurately shoot. i am leaning toward the invasion due to the fact i have a ripcord rest and those are apparently not meant for the z7extreme and i enjoy the tru glow sight i have on my matthews featherlite

I will be doing the same thing in a few months, as soon as my vacation to Afghanistan is over. I to will be shooting both mathews and bowtech. Just hope the new bowtechs are not as LOUD as the one I have now.

Shoot'em all, then walk out with the Invasion. All that aside, have fun with the process of picking out a new rig, and shooting multiple bows. You will know after the first arrow which bow is the one for you.
