Solar panel for Game Cam

We run about 15 Moultry Cameras on our lease and all have the solar panels. What we have found is that it extends the battery life. Now you will still have camera issues but we typically get about 3 months out of a set of batteries, after that we have found it is better to change them and not miss the pictures.

What moultrie cameras are you running, The ones with white flash? The reason I'm asking is because my I-40 and I-60 moultries will run 3 months without the solar panel/battery pack.

If it uses 6 D cells it would be a 9 volt camera if that makes a difference.

Has anyone tried using the rechargeable C or D size batteries with just the solar panel plugged in??
