    And now you have a back up plan BTW I put mine between the vanes and the nocks on my arrows in hopes that it would affect flight less, plus the ends of the arrows might have the best chance of sticking out of whatever mess I've shot them into (ground, brambles, etc.)

    Not saying it's better or best, that's just what I did. Also I would think waiting until the sun's going down to look for lost arrows with a good bright light would work best. I know when I'm jugging at night, hit the spotlight on the water and that reflective tape winks back from waaaaay out there.
