I'm new to bow hunting and I've purchased almost everything I need to get started. Are all quivers the same or is it a preference thing? I'm thinking weight and durability. All input welcome. Thx.

To me durability > weight, but then again, it's a quiver. I would think that typically you would shoot WITHOUT your quiver on your bow, so weight shouldn't be a deciding factor (they're all light) and durability, just depends on if you have a foam head or a magnetic head. -
I wish they were but they are so many types out there and at different prices. Any where from a few dollars to a couple of hundred, some are plastic or all carbon. Its up to you what you like, I personally like the Kwikee quiver line up, not that expensive and does the job for me.Comment

bohning 4 arra for me. And I leave it on to shoot. Easy access, for another quick kill, or follow up shot if need be.Comment

I would say it depends on the type of hunting you do. For me, I almost never spot and stalk and that would be the only reason I would spend $100+ dollars on a nice quiver. In my case, 99% of my hunting takes place in a blind and the first thing I do when I get in is knock an arrow and then take my quiver off and hang it on a limb. If you are like me then I wouldn't worry about it too much.Comment
