Bow fishing Gear

Any cheap light bow will work with 40# or more need 2 pull back quick and shoot. I use a old bear bow with a hand wind reel with a bottle to shoot gar.

i use a genesis @ 25 pounds with a AMS reel kit

for the cheap route, ams fish hawk with nogloves installed, muzzy fish hook rest, muzzy reel seat, straight shooter rod, muzzy or ti20 reel with 200 pound fast flight line, ams safety slides, arrows with sureshot tips, bout 350ish bucks...but the cats meow is oneida osprey 35-55, quick draw rest, f and d reel seat, muzzy reel with 200 pound power pro line, straight shooter rod with modded roller end attached, and sureshot arrows.
