With my new bow I started out shooting the Aramids, but at the price I switched to CX mayhems and felt the durability is equal. They will break the same under the same circumstance. I am now shooting the Easton axis Nano. Thhe Nano's shoot better for me on long distance shots.

I've been shooting CX since 2000. Been shooting the regular 250 Maximas the last several of years. Shooting the 250 Mayhem Hunters @ 26" for the added weight this year. So far I have been very pleased. I can hardly wait to get a Mayhem Hunter in a big pig just so I can see what it will do!

I'm shooting the Mayhem Hunter 350's this year out of my Z7. Finally changed away from the Terminator Lite Hunter 4560's and my old trusty Mathews FX. I like the weight of these, heavy enough for penetration but not so heavy that they drop drastically from 20-40 yards.

I didn't even realize they still made a/c/c's...

Thanks for all the comment folks, CX's on the way, even though I won't set them up till after season
Hey Partner, when I first started out I bought every type of carbon express and to this day that's all I shoot, you name it i got it ,every type of carbon express they make . All of buddies shoot gold tips .Cut to size ,custom sized you name it. But mine are always on target, they fly well . If I told you what broad heads I use you'd laugh like crazy,..I brought them because their packaging and their logos where cool .But they work , they shoot perfect with my cx arrows..Since the day I left the riffle behind and picked up my first bow 7 years ago .I still use carbon express shafts..100gr

I use the Maxima 3D Selects. I like CX because when you get a dozen arrows, they all weigh exactly the same. The spine tolerances are the tighest in the industry. so basically, when you shoot one, you know the next 11 are going to shoot the same.
I have never had that problem with GT arrows.

I switched just because the price of CX maxima went way up. I shot GT for years then went to CX. The CX worked great for me. But why pay gold for a shaft when you can pay bronze for a shaft that gives you just as good performance. I switched back to GT this year.

If I didn't get a good deal on the CX's I would stick with the GT's as they have been good arrows, I have been shooting them for about 8 years now.... I totally understand your reasoning...
